ranting
i thought i should rant about my 9 days without internet now, since i have to sleep (technically), but i cannot.
can you imagine yourself without internet for 9 days? haiz... it was very boring. well, not that boring as i thought it would be. but still, i could not chat with anyone on MSN! instead of chatting, i did what others would (or should) do: occupy myself with other things.
together with 7 other brothers and sisters in Christ, the church came up with a drama play. it's about faithfulness/faithlessness. about a girl, name felicia who changed her faith in her boyfriend because she mingled with the wrong group of friends. she broke up with her boyfriend and quarreled with her sister often. even worse, she was raped. her brother has concerns of his own. he found out that he was adopted. being in a poor family, ricky (felicia's brother) has a chance to escape to america with his biological parents. a story about conflicts within a family and how every person in the family is important in helping to solve the problems. i became ricky. it's cool. but the drama is in indonesian language, which i was fluent in. so, i stumbled across some words. embarassing, yes. but i did my best. i have no regrets. and i believe God called me for the drama. so, there is absolutely no regrets! =) *picture of the drama group on soon*
next, i moved house. i don't want to take the picture of my room yet now. i haven't completed my decorations/arrangements/tidying. so, it's still a shipwreck. hopefully i can clear it. i have been going to the old house a lot too. to move things out of it. only few things left there: fan, a box or two, vacuum cleaner. need to replace bulbs that are spoilt too...
anyways, soon, there'll be a movie marathon. have been planning for this quite a while. i want to buy popcorns. i think i'll ask my brother to do that. and i have been saving quite a lot of money. so, i thought i should treat myself to an insane "sanity" shopping! i bought some dvds already: south park: bigger, longer, uncut; school of rock; wallace and groomit: the curse of the were-rabbits. treated myself to some cds too as my parent's birthday present: jack johnson's in between dreams, toby lightman's little things, shannon noll's lift, dido's life for rent, hilary duff's hilary duff, and one more which i forgot. i want kt tunstall's eye to the telescope. anyone who has that, can you let me rip the cd? thanks in advance!
and i'm compiling a new list. this one is a list for slow, relaxing songs. i think it's perfect for studying purposes, which i will need in term 4.
oh! i was so surprised about one thing. some people may know that i am very very lazy to read books. Bible included. so, i asked myself, is there an audio thing for the Bible, which i can follow and someone reads me the Bible? there is! and in fact, my brother has one! i was so surprised! well, here's my plan: i want to let the audio thing work for my first reading of the Bible first, because i want to know the whole account as written in the Bible first. i want this to be finished at least my the end of this year. and then, next year, i will have my second round of Bible read. 4 chapters a day, with SOAP. it'll continue till the time i die. this is what i hope it'll be. if i'm not lazy anymore.
and also, since it's 2 weeks' holiday, i am writing a script for the cell drama. we are making a movie for our cell. and my theme of the movie is to reach out by the Bible. i want to show that the Bible is not just a book, but it's a Lifestyle. i want to show that the Bible is actually alive if you just follow It. and hopefully, this script is done before the end of my holiday. It's still in scene 2. so, i think fat hope. but still trying. hehee.
well, that's it for now. i'm tired. and i have to wake up early tomorrow. but first, i want to hear at least 8 chapters of the Bible first. hehe.
